It's You Chapter 7

I opened my eyes, and immediatly wished that I hadn't. Sunlight streamed through the window that was facing me, and I shielded my eyes with my hand. I sat up a little, and felt a movement at my back. Where the heck was I? My window didn't face me! Startled, I shot off the bed.
"JaeHwa?" said someone behind me. I turned around and found Lee DongHae looking at me, shielding his eyes against the sunlight, and IN THE SAME BED THAT I HAD JUST LEFT!

I swear that my heart stopped, just for a second.

Then it hit me. I was in SuJu house. I had slept with DongHae on the same bed. And the others would be coming in any minute to wake us up. "DongHae sshi!" I hissed. "The others...!" He seemed to register what I was aiming at because he stood up and left the room.
I shook SungMin. "SungMin sshi, wake up. It's time to get up." He mumbled a bit, then turned over and went back to sleep. Right at that moment, HanKyung and SiWon entered the room.
"Good morning JaeHwa sshi," said SiWon happily, as HanKyung proceeded to drag SungMin out of the bed and on to the floor. He grumbled a bit and then got up and lumbered out of the room, with HanKyung's hands on his shoulders.
"Did you have a good sleep?" asked SiWon.
I remembered DongHae's tears, his arms around me. And I remembered SungMin's snores.
"I had a great sleep," I said, smiling.
"Good. I hope DongHae didn't give you a hard time, he's prone to tossing and turning around alot. On of his uhh traits."
"Oh, it was ok, he was with SungMin after all."
He didn't answer after that. I wonder if he suspected something. EunHyuk poked his head around the door. "JaeHwa sshi, you might want to get changed, we'll drop you at home while we're walking to SM HQ."
Walk?! Super Junior walked to work?! SiWon left the room and I scrambled into my clothes. I felt like telling someone about what had happened, but I knew that there weren't many people I could trust. After all, I was pretty much involved with Lee DongHae. And Korean fan girls could kill me if they found out.
---

I walked a little in front of DongHae and the others, wearing the sunglasses and the cap that he had lent me. We hadn't said a word about what happened last night, but something had changed between us. I could feel it. A saw a few camera flashes, but it didn't matter to me. I was in front of them, not among them. Nobody would be any wiser.
When I got home I flopped straight on to my bed. I felt exhausted. So many things had happened in one day, it was hard to tell what was real and what was a dream. One thing remained as a reality in my head. I had slept in the same bed as Lee DongHae. I vowed to myself never to tell anyone, not even HyunJae.
Precisely at that moment, my cellphone rang and I knew it was HyunJae. As soon as I picked up, she screamed at me to buy the newspaper before hanging up. I wondered what for. I went to the nearest newsagent and picked up the newspaper, then headed back. When I reached the house, HyunJae rang up and asked whether I had seen it. I looked at it.

And I nearly died of shock.

There, on the front page, was DongHae, EunHyuk and SiWon. In DongHae's arms was a girl. That girl was wearing my clothes. I screamed, forgetting that HyunJae was still on the phone with me. My face was turned away from the camera, nestled in DongHae's neck, but even I could tell that it bore a little resemblance to me. The caption read "Lee DongHae's secret girlfriend?"

"JaeHwa!" said HyunJae. "Do you know what this means?" She sounded excited, but my heart was sinking.
"It means that I'm about to make DongHae lose his job!" I yelled. HyunJae fell silent.
"I forgot about that policy.." she said. "Shit, do you think they'll lose their jobs? And EunHyuk took me back as well, if anyone saw us..."
"Don't worry about EunHyuk, nobody saw you. They'll be ok if all they do is say that they took me hospital, but what if they say more?"
"I don't think there's anything we can do if they do, JaeHwa."
I didn't have a comeback for that. If DongHae lost his job because of me, he'd hate me for life. I'd hate me for life.
"You do know that the girl looks like you, a bit. At least if anyone knows you, they'd recognize you. If any of the girls in school get hold of this..."
".... I'm dead."
"Not if you say it wasn't you."
"You know that MinYoung would recognize me. You know how much she's obsessed with DongHae. She'd either kill me or herself."
"But he doesn't even know she exists. Or like her."
"I don't think that's any advantage of mine."
"Come on JaeHwa, who're you trying to kid? The guy likes you. It was so obvious."
She'd only seen us together in the hospital. She didn't know what had happened outside the flat. If it was that obvious to her during that little time, what did the other SuJu members think?
"... look JaeHwa, I've got to go now, take care of yourself ok? Don't go doing anything stupid."
"You're the one who does stupid stuff, not me. Don't worry. I won't do anything, I swear."
"You better not. Okay, see you later."
The phone clicked. I lay back on my bed, then went over to my desk and pulled out my half-finished holiday homework. Just something to pass the time, make me forget about DongHae. I straightened up and came face to face with a poster DongHae's face.
Darn it!
----
"HyunJae, I'm going over to SuJu house," I said.
"What?!" she exclaimed, her voice echoing around the room. I watched her expression on the laptop screen. "Look, that's the stupid thing I was talking about. Do you want to attract even more attention?"
I winced, then pouted.
"Don't give me that face, doll," said HyunJae. I could see her brother moving around behind her.
"Look, you can come with me," I said.
"TaeMin, could you leave my room for a while?" said HyunJae.
"Sure nuna, whatever you say," said TaeMin, slamming the door behind him.
"I want to come with you... but what if EunHyuk's lost his job? He'll hate me."
"Don't worry, if DongHae's lost his, he'll hate me too. Problem solved. Meet me at the Cafe Latte at 6?"
She sighed. "Fine. Don't forget to wear shades."
"Oh, that reminds me, I have to give back DongHae's shades and cap."
"JaeHwa, do you know you're in trouble?"
"Like...?"
"You're in way deeper than you think."
"Just make sure you're there."
---
"You do realise that you're wearing shades... when the sun's setting?" I said as HyunJae met me outside Cafe Latte.
"It's called disguise, in case you haven't heard of it before. And look who's talking you're wearing a cap when there's no sun," replied HyunJae.
"You look nice. Going somewhere after this?"
"We are going to SuJu house, you know."
"Hell, they saw me in pyjamas!"
"WHAT?! Didn't you go home after that?!"
"Uh....."
"JAEHWA! You stayed the night?!"
"They made me! It was raining... and it was dark..." I said lamely.
"God JaeHwa, I hope you didn't do anything..."
"I hope YOU didn't do anything with EunHyuk on the bus," I retorted.
She said nothing, but I could see her faintly blush.
"HyunJae. Please don't tell me you've fallen for him."
